When I first exchanged conversations via email with Courtney and Rodrigo, I immediately knew we were a match made in heaven. Anyone who loves “Powerpuff girls”, is an immediate soul mate, no ifs and or buts about it! But seriously, I was over the moon when they chose me to capture their upcoming special day at the Fontaine Estates Winery in Naches, Washington. They had such a beautiful wedding with beautiful weather. These two are truly made for each other! They are so humble, loving, and kind. I am so blessed that I was able to share such a special day with these two kindred and warm souls!

How they Met

Courtney and Rodrigo met in college through friends and were dating for 4 years up until now. Big shout out to the friends that introduced these two lovebirds! Rodrigo is a 7th-grade health and fitness teacher and Courtney is a college prep coach prepping kids for college. When these are two aren’t working they enjoy hiking, binge-watching shows on Netflix, playing tennis, and taking their dog Piper on walks. I asked Courtney and Rodrigo several questions about themselves and these are their questions and their answers. Here’s a glimpse of Courtney and Rodrigo’s love together and their story.

For the groom: What do you love most about her? “I love how caring and loving she is. I love how creative she is too!”

For the BRIDE: What do you love the most about him? “I love how patient he is and how passionate he is about this career and his students. This shows what an amazing father he will be some day. I also love his sense of humor! He is like a big kid and I love that.”

If you could pick one word that describes you two as a couple, what would it be? “Silly

What do you two love most about each other? “I think it is safe to say that one of the best things in our relationship is that we are always down to try new things. We really appreciate each others spontaneity! It’s just never boring, which is so important to both of us!

Describe your perfect Saturday together: “Sleep in until around 8 or 9 and then go on a hike or go play tennis/basketball together. No if it is sunny and warm, that is even better!”

went. He told me to come around the corner and when I did, I definitely wasn’t thinking I was about to get engaged. However, to my surprise, really, I am that oblivious, Rogi took out a ring, got down on one knee and gave the cutest speech I have ever heard and then asked me to be his wife! It was perfect! Not only did I get the perfect proposal, and the perfect ring, I got the perfect guy and I am truly marrying my best friend!”

Aren’t these two just the absolute cutest!!!! I can’t even describe how I feel about these two! Their love truly inspires me! I wish these two a lifetime full of love, peace, and happiness. Thanks for allowing me to be apart of such a beautiful and special day!
