Romantic Fort Steilacoom Park Engagement Session
Lizzie and Chris have been together for 5 years and have been engaged for a little over one year. Chris was waiting for the right time to pop the question. He wanted to propose to Lizzie at the right time and the perfect place. Isn’t he a romantic? Chris brought Lizzie to Snoqualmie Falls and lured her away to a secluded place where the two would have some privacy. It was at that moment that he popped the question, and of course she said, “YES!” I had the pleasure of capturing the loved shared between these two at Fort Steilacoom Park in Tacoma, Washington. These two are the funniest and sweetest couple ever. They stayed joking and laughing throughout our whole session. It was truly a joy capturing these two in their most truest forms.
These two lovebirds originally chose Point Defiance Park as the location that they wanted to take their photos, but the day of we found the park to be extremely jam packed. That’s when we decided to go to Fort Steilcoom Park and I’m sure glad we did. Fort Steilacoom Park offers a lot of variety, nice fields and even a lake. You really can’t go wrong. We were able to explore the beauty the park had to offer and got some great images! I’m really looking forward to capturing these two wedding this coming July. They’re having a sweet and intimate backyard wedding this summer. I’m sure it’ll be one unforgettable day!

Lessie is an amazing photographer. We could not be happier with our wedding photos. I love that she included many unique shots that I wouldn't have thought of but that I really love. Also, along with the photos of my husband and me and photos of both sides of the bridal party, she captured many of the wonderful smaller moments and details that are hard to notice amidst the busy-ness of the wedding day. We loved seeing those smaller details and the candid photos of friends and family as well. They're all very special to us.
