Crystal and Chris opted to get married on June 12, 2021 which is Loving Day at the River Valley Oasis wedding venue in Granite Falls, Washington. It is a very significant day for them and it was so important that they get married on this very day.
What is Loving Day?
Loving day is a yearly celebrated day which is the anniversary of the day that the supreme court approved interracial marriage in 1967. Unfortunately it is not a recognized federal holiday, but it still of the upmost importance none the less. Mildred Loving is the beautiful strong and black woman behind Loving Day getting passed. I can’t thank her enough for her efforts.
Wedding Day Vibes

How Did You Two First Meet?
We met on Tinder, Chris super liked me!
When Did You Get Engaged?
In November.
How and Where Did your fiance Propose? Was It a Complete Surprise?
I proposed to him! I got sick of waiting and then realized my reasons for waiting didn’t make sense.
Who Said ” I Love You” First?
Crystal said the actual words first but Chris claims he said it first by using a princess bride quote on me. I had never seen the movie so it was lost on me.

Lessie is an amazing photographer. We could not be happier with our wedding photos. I love that she included many unique shots that I wouldn't have thought of but that I really love. Also, along with the photos of my husband and me and photos of both sides of the bridal party, she captured many of the wonderful smaller moments and details that are hard to notice amidst the busy-ness of the wedding day. We loved seeing those smaller details and the candid photos of friends and family as well. They're all very special to us.
