Point Defiance Park in Tacoma Washington

I had such a blast capturing Rachael & Dustin’s engagement session at the Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, Washington during sunset. These two lovebirds were set up buy the best man and his wife. They knew that they’d be a great pair and they were right!

In less than two weeks of meeting each other, they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other. The proposal wasn’t much of a surprise, being that Dustin brought a one of a kind custom ring. Unfortunately, it was stolen two months before the proposal. So, he had to get another (second) one of a kind custom ring made. Dustin proposed on a weeknight while they were having their nightly couch time with their brand new puppy. Dustin proposed by saying, ” I know things have been crazy lately with the new puppy, but this is still the best part of my day and I want to do this every night for the rest of my life.” OMG, tears! What an absolutely adorable proposal and of course Rachael said, “YES”! I can’t wait to capture their wedding at a beautiful cobblestone VRBO next month!
