The Pacific Northwest is the most magical place to get married; with some of my favorite wedding venues being in Washington State. Seattle, Washington is rich with talented wedding vendors and wedding photographers, and Tacoma, Washington is home to some of the most breathtaking wedding venues. With all of the choices in the world, wedding planning and finding a wedding venue in Washington State can be overwhelming. In this guide, I have curated a list of some of the best wedding venues in The PNW!
Sit back and relax, I’m here to help! In this blog post, I’m sharing 25 top wedding venues in Washington State. As a Seattle wedding photographer, I’ve experienced wedding venues all over the state of Washington. From my research to my own – and my clients – experiences, I’ve come up with the ultimate guide to choosing your wedding venue for your Pacific Northwest wedding.
I hope this post helps you select the very best wedding venue for your special day!
How to Choose Your Wedding Venue
We consider a wedding venue “the bones” of your big day. Once you choose your wedding venue, you can begin planning your wedding florals, catering, and additional wedding vendors. Here are a few things to keep in mind when you’re touring these best wedding venues Washington State wedding venues:
- If you’re hiring a wedding planner, get them involved with the wedding venue process. Experienced wedding planners are familiar with most venues and will be able to share why one may or may not work for your needs.
- Read online reviews about the wedding venue. Although it’s helpful to have friends and family weigh in on why they may like/dislike a venue, it’s important to read a few unbiased opinions and experiences.
- Decide what season you want to get married in. Certain wedding venues may be seasonal, so depending on which month(s) you’re wanting to get married, you may need to re-think your venue.
- Tour the wedding venue at least twice. During your first walk-through, ask as many general questions as possible. The second time around, we suggest asking more specific questions like, “Can I have candles, or does that break your fire policy?” and “Is it possible to create a larger dance floor?” After all, it is your wedding day – so you’ll want to find a venue that can execute your needs!
