Bride & Groom Kissing

Mount Rainier Park Elopement | Megan + Steven

My Blog

Beautiful & Sunny Mount Rainier Park Elopement in Pacific Northwest Washington

These beautiful kindred spirits met each other in 2016 a Paradiso at the Gorge Amphitheater. Steven was the tallest security guard and Megan motioned for him to come and that’s when she told him that he was cute. As the night progressed they ended up running into each other again. During this second chance of fate, Steven took Megan’s phone, pt his number in it, but didn’t put his name. Sometime later Megan texted the number with only her name. The two have been inseparable since. They had a beautiful elopement on Mount Rainier and the sun was ever so shining on their special day! Their wedding day theme was classic and timeless and they had beautiful colors of green, silver, and black. Please check out their engagement session.

If You Had to Choose Three Words Or Emotions to Describe your Wedding, What Would They Be?

Classic, Relaxed & Happy.

How and Where Did the Groom Propose? Was It a Complete Surprise?

We had been talking about getting married for the last year or so, and he told me to go get a ring and we’d make it official. So, it was no surprise at all, I picked out my own ring.

Tell Me About the “Spark”….whats your Love Story?

I knew Steven was the one when he cleaned out a wound on my thigh. I had walked into my broken license plate holder and it cut a big chunk out of my leg. We were at his dad’s house and there was blood running down my leg, Steven so calmly got peroxide and tweezers to pull the dirt and plastic out. Then he ran me a hot bath to soak more of the dirt out. A month later he had to cut the scar open and pull out the rest of the plastic on our living room couch. I knew that he was the one because of how well he took care of me, for such a minor injury too. He still takes care of me, whenever I’m sick or hurt. (I’m really clumsy) And I do the same for him whenever his rib separates, or his ruptured disk flares up, or he gets sick.

Who Said ” I Love You” First?

Megan said it drunk, but Steven said it sober.

Bride: What’s Something You Love About the Groom?

He always makes me laugh, no matter how bad my mood is. He makes me feel safe, and always supports me when I get really ambitious about something.

Groom: What’s Something You Love About the Bride?

She’s very driven and inspires me. I love how passionate she is about education.

Farewell Wishes from the Photographer

I wish these two beautiful souls a lifetime full of love and bliss. Their love and how they care for each other truly inspires me and they have left an impression in my heart that I’ll continue to take with me forever.
